Here's my response to a few comments I received about my last post: First, I have a walk-in closet that I have all my comic books stored in. They're in "comic bags" and specially made "comic book boxes." I know I need to join the 21st century and learn how to text message and instant message. My students showed me once how to text but, uhm, I forget what they taught me. (Gee, that sounds familiar.) In a way, I guess I have IM'd someone before since we communicate instantly with fellow guild members in Guild Wars. Besides the 50-mile ultramarathon that I ran, (JFK All-American 50-Mile Ultra in Maryland), I've run 13 marathons, numerous half-marathons (at least 15), and two 35-mile ultras. Plus, I did a duathlon (running & biking) in Ft. Wayne several years ago and I've done sprint triathlons the past two summers in Greenville, OH (swim, bike, run). Agreed on the Whopper, although I've never had a double. (Hey, I've got to draw a line somewhere. But I have eaten two regular Whoppers at one meal.) I think Pastor Pink's chicken tacos are like the elusive coyote. You hear that they exist, but you never actually see one. As far as sharks are concerned, I think I was scarred when I saw "Jaws" for the first time. Everytime I go near the ocean I hear this soft bass music that progressively gets louder with a faster tempo.
Tomorrow night is family movie night at the Miller's. "Alvin & the Chipmunks" plus pizza and breadsticks! Let the good times roll. >> :]
