Do you remember?

I should be grading the sophomore history test that I gave today, but I'm currently procrastinating. I'll get to it later. :) Do you remember anything your teacher(s) taught you about World War One or the Roaring Twenties? The test I gave today was on the World War One era. It's enjoyable for me to teach, but in the larger scheme of things does it really matter what the students remeber about it? That's a rhetorical question, but I'm not sure I have a good answer for it.
We competed in a quad track meet tonight. It was a lot closer than I thought it would be. We finished 5 1/2 points behind the first place team and 2 1/2 points ahead of the third place team. I thought the team that got first, Ft. Loramie, would demolish the rest of the field. TIGER RELAYS this Friday night! Yea!!!
Big "C" has temporarily departed from LEGO Star Wars and is currently playing one of my "Age of Empires" computer games. He's into the ballista, catapults, war elephants, and triremes. And the archers, if they're powerful enough. Like his father, he's way too much defensive and not near enough offensive oriented. Too many walls and not enough invading the enemies town/encampment. He also likes to play "Starcraft," which is a sci-fi space version of AoE with humans (terrans) and two alien races. I've so created a monster!!! lol
Little "C" likes to watch at the moment, but eventually he'll be playing them too.
